Boots are useless. Hardly last a year before tearing again. Try a different brand.

I took some time for an inspection and evaluation of the shaft boots. I installed the shaft boots on July 08, almost two and half months ago. I found the driver side shaft boot presented cracking at surface on the rubber, while the other side less damaged. I checked misalignment, high temperature or chemical attack, but nothing abnormal. Maybe (I'm not sure), it would be a problem with manufacturing rubber. There are here two important things: I'm sure both shaft boots were well installed and that the original Mopar boots lasted 14 years to damage! I attached some pictures. Welcome to comments. Thanks
