It would not fit on speedometer drive due to the crimp being made to small

Not a cheap piece of plastic and speedometer reads out correctly now. Crown Automotive has best selection of OEM parts.

The square input socket on the end of the gear was too small. Before the gear was seated into the speed sensor it stuck. Trying to get it out destroyed pulled the speed sensor shaft out. It ruined the speed sensor forcing me to buy another speed sensor. I bought a gear from someone else. Some else has reported the same defect. Don't take a chance on getting a defective part....don't buy this brand.

Works good! just make sure it meshs with the worm gear, also Replace the o-ring while installing as the old one will be hardened and brittle.

Finally found the problem and it wasn't electrical at all, but rather this gear. Worked like a charm with a 5 minute fix and my speedometer and cruse control now work :-)

I run 33x10.5 on my jeep and this gear puts my speed to within 1 MPH at 56 MPH. At lower speeds I have checked it on both GPS and on-base speed radar and between 15 and 45 MPH I am dead on.
