Pan gasket doesn't match factory gasket as far as material. Crown gasket is just rubber gasket, factory transmission gasket is aluminum framed with what appears to be a butyl rubber gasket bonded to it. Factory gasket only costs about $10-15 more and the quality is much better. I would not buy this gasket again and ended up reusing the factory gasket on the new PPE aluminum pan for our Jeep Wrangler.

As described, a little trick when installing a gasket, use Vaseline to keep it stuck in place during installation.
