The tongs work very nice but would only be fairly priced if the graphite crucible was included. They make sure it's in all the pictures but the disclaimer that says it does not come with it is obscure. I still need a graphite crucible but I wont be patronizing this seller or Amazon to buy it.

This product doesn't come with the crucible in the picture if I would have took the time to read that I wouldn't have ordered this product. I feel that this product is very much over priced, for a pair of tongs without the crucible.

These seem like some great tongs, but I ordered them to be used with this crucible, and they don't really fit it at all. Just a warning.

These crucible tongs work just as advertised. They have both a good grip for your hands as well as a good grip on crucibles.

Ok at best... not the highest quality built item in my tool box, but it performs exactly as it is meant to.I'd give it 3.5 stars if it were an option.

Nicely made...I bought them to use with my Kerr Electro-Melt, not realizing that you don't pick up the crucibles with the Kerr, but instead the entire heating unit. Others seem to have a groove on the crucible, but not the Kerr. That's okay, I've repurposed them for picking up flasks out of the kiln to move to the vacuum casting setup. They are well-made, and do the job!
