Onyx is commonly mistaken for agate. They are almost identical, except agate has curved bans while onyx has parallel bands. Onyx is found in many different colors and has a been used in jewelry and trinkets for many centuries. Common uses in ancient times include beads, bowls, and plates.

Not as black as I would hope for onyx but every stone is different and the color variation in the stone is still very lovely you can feel the energy it provides

Most of the stones were fantastic, but there was one very large price of natural chalk. The squares in the photo are 4” x 4” so appx 2”x 2”
