1. Unplug all external devices from the laptop and remove the old battery.
2. Insert the new battery and restart the computer.
3. Connect the AC adapter and check if your machine can detect the battery again.

Me llegó la bateria en el tiempo establecido, sin embargo no funcionó, el proceso de reembolso me pide que lo regrese a amazon en Las Vegas, por lo que me cobran 3000$ pesos de envio, fue un desperdicio de dinero

Received when said would arrive. A tiny bit smaller than old battery on laptop. Had to put small piece of cardboard so wouldn't slide out of place. Wish could have longer than 4 hrs battery life. But 4 hours was what old battery also had. Seems to work fine. But have only had a little over 2 weeks.
