Fairly common for metal toilet flanges to rust and break, leaving you with a loose or leaking toilet. If you can’t properly replace the whole flange, don’t have access to under the toilet or want to cut open the bathroom floor, use this brass repair flange with stainless steel screws and good quality brass mounting bolts. Even though the wax ring creates the seal inside the ring, use a good quality silicone or plumbers goop between this and the broken flange.
