Honestly, I think auto manufacturers should be ashamed of the work they do.Is there really a need to have 500 different sparkplugs? Thousands of different parts and pieces that "do the same thing" on a variety of cars.Sure, I get it, they need to make money selling you specialized, just for them parts...But that shouldn't be the name of the game.It should be about "making the best product"...So when they all seem to use different tools to install the same kinds of parts (in this case, a timing belt tensioner pully) we have to wonder if it is about "making the best car" or just "ripping off the customer"...I now have, in my modest collection, 5 or 6 different pully tensioner tools for a variety of vehicles... yet, the part, itself, looks and functions identically across all vehicles...So why can't the tool be the same for that particular part?LOLSo it is.The tools did the job. It will now go sit in the pile with the others, and maybe, some day... it might get used again.

If you’re going to be performing multiple jobs this isn’t going to last. The pins will pop out with little force.

This tool broke immediately on the first use! One of the pins just bend and then broke off, for $27 this tool total is crap. Don't waste your time buying it and then being stuck on a job.

This tool is a pile of human waste... I wish I had spent the money on a better quality brand as one of the spanner dowels broke off on the first use...

Bought this because I don't like the ratching attachment style and preferred the handle version. Other reviewer is right, the first bit of tension and I had one of the pins bend and snap (less than the 7-10ft/lbs the manual calls for) while rotating the holes for the pulley to be over the bolt. Unfortunately I had to make an emergency trip after I ordered so I missed the return window. Like the idea, hated the execution.
