Good for the money . Gauge was showing 10si above what system runs at according to bmw but at least I could see it wasn’t dropping off

5 stars for application and function—needed a fuel pressure gauge to fit the Schrader valve on 2003 BMW 530i (E39 with M54) fuel rail, and after trying a couple other gauges from local shops, tried this one, and it fit, sealed, and measured fuel pressure properly.Loses 1 star for:-hose not being long enough to easily watch the fuel pressure gauge reading from the driver’s seat, and-not having a fuel pressure relief valve with hose.Other than those 2 caveats, does what it’s supposed to.CTA’s service is very good, with quick, helpful email responses, but I couldn’t find the quick disconnect and Schrader valve fittings locally to make up a longer hose.

I bought this product through Amazon knowing it was pre-used. The packaging was dirty. This product was defective or had been tampered with. I connected it to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail of a 2002 BMW 325i to test fuel pressure. Schrader connection did work, which I had been concerned about. However when I started engine, gasoline sprayed all over engine compartment. Upon further examination of the quick disconnect coupling between gauge and hose, I realized that the male end of coupling did not seat properly into female end of coupling. The connection was so loose that it seemed the original fitting had been substituted with this one. It seemed to have been deliberate and was not a case of a damaged coupling. This tool was an extreme fire hazard and should never have been sold/re-sold. Do not buy from this vendor.

good tool and delivered quickly,i bought a big gas gauge kit from oreillys but did not come with bmw adapter this was the best buy i could find
