Make the outside of your fish tank stand out with the realistic outer decor.

  • Yes we designed our hide to keep large soft betta fins safe! It's important to avoid sharp edges to keep fins in perfect health, the inside of the rock is smooth to prevent tears.

  • No, you should not completely remove the outer rock from the tank. We designed this hide to rotate the outer side to keep the magnet holding your hide in place. Remove the outside will make the inner hide sink.

  • Due to the magnets power we recommend small to medium size aquariums with thinner glass. Tanks larger than 40 gallons may not properly attach. You can place the hide at the bottom of the tank with substrate to support the hide along with the magnet.

  • We do not recommend the hide for acrylic tanks as sand, debris, or substrate can get in between the hide causing scratched, this does not happen with glass tanks. Is you used our hide with acrylic/plastic tanks insure your carefully rotate the hide.

Love this rock, because it stays where you put it, and you can vacuum under it. Just wish it came in in a smaller size for my hydroponic betta tank.
