Operating Steps
- Open the housing of wire to 0.39-0.47inch (9-10mm);
- Push the lever to 90° and insert the wire lead;
- Press the lever to close the clamp;
- Check the test hole whether it is connected correctly.

I normally use the well known name brand version of this type of connector - which work fine but are a bit pricey. I wanted to try these to see if they might be a reasonable substitute since they are considerably less expensive.First off, these are physically larger than the W.go and would take up more room in a jbox. The spring seems quite strong, but even so, it's not very hard to pull a solid wire back out - especially compared to the W.go. (I haven't had an opportunity to try stranded wire yet)The ability to join them together would be a nice feature for some applications.I think they might be okay for low stress applications like maybe light fixture connections - but not that great for stuffing back into a crowded outlet box.

I do a fair amount of 12VDC lighting reviews in vehicle applications and it's been so much easier to do the wiring with a lever connector. The wiring job is close to permanent but with the ease of disconnecting it all without having to disassemble butt connectors, shorten the wiring or be left with no options for the next round of testing. These work really well for both solid and stranded wire and make a strong connection. I started with a sampler pack and ordered a bunch more. They make life easier. The price is even better since they're continually reusable.

This product is lever wire connectors and one feature I like it the most is that it allows you to make your own custom "configuration" or "combination". Each connector is a 1-to-1 connector, and each can be slide and "connected" side-by-side to make it 2-to-2, 3-to-3 or more. This kind of flexibility is great.It accepts from 12AWG to 24AWG, which is excellent to "couple" wire size with a big difference, like connecting a 12AWG to a 20AWG wire.The locking mechanism works well, but since it is non-transparent, you can't see whether it is fully inserted or securely locked. Which the original brand of lever connector do offer transparent connector.As a "replica" of lever connector, this work and function well in most cases, just lack the "transparent" feature. So, a light "pull" on the wire is recommended to make sure it is securely "locked".Price is about 40cents each, a fair price.

This is a pretty good product. This lever lock style of wire connector is really convenient and simple to use. I wish I had known about these years ago. They would have saved me hours of work and made connecting speaker systems much easier, among other projects.This specific brand of lever nut has advantages and disadvantages compared to its competitors. One pretty cool and unique feature is that these have mortise and tenon joints on the side of the plastic case so you can put together as many of these as you want. The connection is VERY tight and secure so they are going to stay fastened together. Note that even when connected in this way, they are a one-wire to one-wire connection. Putting the plastic connectors together doesn’t mean you could connect multiple wires to one circuit.I got these mainly to use with very fine (20 – 24 AWG) wire with which some competitors’ products don’t work. I had mixed results in my initial attempts. The first time I tried to connect to a fine wire, I was able to pull the wire out of the connector. The second attempt, I pulled the insulation off the wire but the wire stayed connected! I conclude that in my first attempt I didn’t have enough insulation removed so the connector wasn’t firmly attached to the wire. I also conclude that when properly installed, these make a very tight connection. These work even better on thicker stranded or solid wire giving a very strong connection. It isn’t clearly marked, but on the bottom of the plastic case is a 10 mm indentation that you can use to measure the correct amount of insulation to strip from the wire. Very convenient.There are a couple minor issues with these connectors. First, they are opaque so you can’t see if the wire is inserted properly. This is particularly important when working with very fine wire that can be difficult to tell if it gets bent when inserting the wire into the connector. Another issue is that these are very bulky, quite a bit taller than one of their brand name competitors. That could be a problem if one were using these in a packed junction box.Overall, this is a very solid product. They hold properly inserted wires very securely. As long as size isn’t an issue and you make sure the connection is tight, these work just great.

I can usually manage to accomplish some DIY stuff around my house.I recently had to replace a smart switch inside the base of a post lamp in my front yard.Using these clips made it so much easier rather than having to fumble with wire nuts.I also connected up some speaker wires in my living room, and these made it very easy to connect them.This is my first time of using this type of wire connector, so I cannot comment on how they compare to other brands.I found these very easy to use. I like the way they can slide together, so they become a single unit rather than separate pieces to handle.
