According to the photo, I ordered a light oak pendulum. But I received a dark wood pendulum.The manufacturer was not helpful.ANDI had to pay the return shipping.

The pendulum for my Black Forest Cuckoo Clock did not make it into the box when it was packed up for a move. This one was authentic from Germany and matched the oak leaf motif of my clock. Color matched perfectly and it adjusts and keeps time well too.

I needed a pendulum with oak leaf slide to match the leaves in my clock. However, it is way to light to be able to keep time on my clock. My clock is huge and needs a heavy pendulum. This is certainly not the one. With the slide in the lowest position, my clock would gain nearly an hour in every 24 hours. Not good. Also, I thought I was getting free return if it wasn't right. I didn't and spent $5.05 to return it and it weighed hardly more than a feather. Very disappointed.

I've had my family cuckoo clock in a box for a long time collecting dust and I decided to repair it and give it some life again. Unfortunately, the pendulum was missing which is kind of a major component to not have. I found some images of the original clock and this was almost an exact match. After some tuning, oil, and chain repair, my family clock was restored and looks just like it did when I was a kid! This was the perfect replacement.

Lost my old pendulum during a move. This one looks just as good on my cuckoo clock as the old one did. Highly detailed and authentic looking. Works great too.

The attachment holding the oak leaf to the pendulum is better than the original I bought in Germany in 1995

It is a near perfect match to the one lost by the movers. It looks like it came with my clock. The one I received was nicely carved from a good piece of light weight wood with a fine finish applied. It slides up and down the shaft to adjust the speed of movement just like the original. I had to slide the leaf nearly to the end to keep near perfect time, but others might get different results with their clocks. This might have to do with the weight of the wood or length of the shaft, but it still works. That's what counts.lite
