Great cast iron grill insert. We have the Cuisinart roll-away gas grill and it fits on the grates perfectly. I like that it’s double sided too so it’s more versatile.We’ve only had it for a few weeks, so I’m not sure how durable it will be, but it feels like heavy duty cast iron. Would recommend.

One handle cracked at one connecting point after first heat during seasoning. Turns out in my case, was ok because it was a tad too long for the gas barbecue. I could not completely close the cover. So I grinded off the other connecting point at the same end and removed the handle entirely. I seasoned it well maybe 5 times and now, nothing sticks to it.

I really like this hot plate. It's perfect for when my family comes to visit. It's large enough to fit multiple items on & keeps everything perfectly warm. Very convenient since I can prepare food in advance.
