I have mixed feelings about these. My wife and I were staying at an ARBB a couple of weeks ago and they had similar mittens in the kitchen. At the time I checked and found the same ones on Amazon, but when I got home I couldn't remember the name of the manufacturer. I went with these because Cuisinart is a good name. I find them a little tight, but the biggest problem are the straps for hanging them; these really get in the way of putting them on. Also, and this might apply to the ones I saw before as well, is that picking up a cast iron skillet handle melts the silicone a little (leaves an impression) which can be seen in one of the photos. This won't happen when using a skillet or pot with a plastic or wooden handle, but it wasn't something I had thought of when ordering them. They're alright, just not thrilled. The leather hanging straps look good, but really aren't an asset.

Our oven mitts were looking pretty ratty, so I upgraded and these are luscious. They are thick with silicone and padding, so you don't feel any heat. They look great and the price is exceptional. And I love the hooks as they hang on the side of our fridge! Couldn't ask for more!

I've grown accustomed to these shorter oven mitts and like them very much. When my old pair (without silicone) wore out, I decided to order these. Love them! The herringbone charcoal is gorgeous (I'm a fan of that type of fabric, tweeds and such). I really like the leather strap with button that allows you to hang them, very elegant looking. And finally, the silicone coating; my old mitts didn't have it and if any moisture got on the fabric, you could easily burn yourself as the heat transfers. These are fabulous in that you don't have that issue at all, and with the silicone only on one side, the glove still feels very flexible which makes it easy to grasp a hot pan, etc. Very happy with them.

My wife has gotten in the habit of using dish towels to grab items out of the oven. Since the kids are getting bigger and wanting to help more with the cooking, we thought cooking safety would be the smart choice and decided to invest in some oven mitts.These mitts are thick. The kids love them. The size fits both small helper hands all the way up to larger adult hands and the shortened mitts are easy to get on and off quickly. Quick access, ease of grip and non-slip neoprene palms so you don’t have to worry about younger helpers getting burned or dropping the brownies while pulling them out. The gray color blends well with any kitchen or outdoor grill style and the woven fabric is thick ensuring safety from burns. One of my favorite features is the faux leather loop. Placing them on the side of the fridge with a magnetic hook, we can see and access them quickly.Simple, accessible, and easy to use, with a good price, and a quality name like Cuisinart, so you’re almost certain to get a good product, which these are. Great oven mitts!

This is a simple product done correctly.The design is minimlist, elegant, and functional. Even just having them hang in your kitchen looks good.The outside is polyester. I know...yuck! BUT, the inside is 100% cotton and feels just like that. Very nice.They mitts have enough size to help you do what you need to get done, with the advantage that this allows you to slip into them easily, grip whatever you need to grip well, and then slip out of them just as swiftly.The leather by which you hang them is of good quality and adds a nice accent to the elegance of the mitts.For $15 you cannot go wrong AT ALL with this great product. Cuisinart might have found the perfect mix of style, function, and price with these mitts. Keep on going down that road, because this is perfect!

These are great half oven mitts. I really like the grippy part on the inner part, it's actually grippy and doesn't get super slippery with the slightest hint of oil. So far I haven't even felt a tiny bit of heat coming through taking out cast iron or stoneware from the oven at any temp. They're small enough to easily store in a cubby we have by the stove.
