Not as heavy duty as I wanted. Obviously this was not a new product, box seal was broken and item had finger prints on it.

This chopper is very small and not easy to use. The food to be chopped is in a separate bottom piece that you have to fit into the top and make sure the blade stays in place. Not easy and very awkward for sure. Also, it can hold only a small amount of food. There is a larger version of this chopper that works beautifully, which I used for several years before a piece broke off. I'm returning this one and ordering the one I had before.

It reminds me "I'm only cooking for just 2 now, I used cook for 6 people , it's not so easy takes a lil time adjusting its all good definitely better .

I'm giving this 4 stars because this is a replacement for one that had a dishwasher mishap. While it clearly says 'dishwasher safe,' after many uses, the small removable plastic guard melted in the dishwasher and since it wouldn't fit correctly I had to replace it.The chopper itself works pretty well, as it's fairly simple and easy to use. I chop olives in it all the time.Overall, when in the dishwasher, the top portion, the chopper, will fill up with water no matter how I have positioned it on the top rack. Kinda annoying when trying to put it away as you have to dump the water out and let it air dry. For the price it works pretty well. If something happens to this one, I'll replace it with another one as long as the price is around $9 or less.

It's so much easier to chop garlic now. This thing is a life and time saver!!
