Great scraper. No wires to break off and possibly get stuck in food.

It needs something else on the other side besides scraper, a missed opportunity.

This grill brush works really well with our Weber grill. No rust or stray steel after months of use.

This scraper has a huge head on it, and certainly looks like it could do some damage to grease and carbon buildup. I appreciate the design to reduce the likelihood of bodily harm due to ingesting a scraper bristle. Overall, though, its looks are more impressive than its success at cleaning. The coils aren't as abrasive as rough bristles, so it still takes a fair amount work to clear the surface. Prior, I had a pretty wimpy little brush, and I don't think this gets the grill any cleaner. However, I'll settle for similar performance while mitigating the risk.

We have gone through a number of barbecue cleaning brushes over the years, and I can confidently say that the Cuisinart Triple Coil Brush stands out as one of the better ones we’ve used. To be clear, when it comes to grill cleaning, the fastest and easiest way to get a grill looking decent is to use the scraper—that thin metal blade on the opposite side of the brush—to clear off the very top of the grates. This scraper is effective for quickly removing the top layer of residue, but like all grill scrapers, it only addresses the surface, leaving behind the grime that settles in between the grates and in the crevices. That’s where a solid brush like this one makes all the difference.I’ve had other Cuisinart grill brushes before, and they tend to make durable, well-designed products that are effective without requiring excessive effort. This particular brush is no exception. The triple coil design allows it to dig into the grooves of the grill grates much better than a standard flat brush, getting into those tough-to-reach areas that a scraper alone can’t handle. The bristle-free design is also a huge plus. We’ve all heard horror stories about wire bristles breaking off and ending up in food, so I appreciate that this brush eliminates that risk while still being aggressive enough to remove stubborn residue. One of the best ways to maximize this brush’s effectiveness is to use it with water. Dipping it into a bowl of water—sometimes with a little vinegar added to help break down grease—turns it into a mini steam cleaner when used on a hot grill. As the heat from the grates evaporates the water held in the brush, the steam helps loosen cooked-on grime, making the cleaning process much easier. This is a trick I’ve used with other grill brushes, but the triple coil design of this one holds water better than some others I’ve tried, making the steam effect even more pronounced. That being said, using water on a hot grill does come with some risks. If you’re not careful, the steam can cause serious burns, especially if you’re working too close without proper protection. A good heat-resistant glove is a must, and if you’re using vinegar or any other cleaner that creates strong fumes when heated, a respirator might not be a bad idea. Steam burns are no joke, and I’ve seen how quickly a careless moment can turn into an incredibly painful injury. So while this brush is excellent for steam cleaning, it’s important to use common sense and proper safety precautions. While I do have a dedicated steam cleaner that I use for deep cleaning my grill, this brush is perfect for quick, effective maintenance between major cleanings. It’s sturdy, well-designed, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. The scraper is great for fast touch-ups, the triple coil brush gets deep into the grates, and the ability to create steam on contact makes the cleaning process even more efficient. If I had to nitpick, I’d say the handle could be a bit longer for better leverage, but overall, it’s a solid product that performs well. Four stars because while it’s one of the best manual grill brushes I’ve used, it’s not completely foolproof—proper technique and safety measures are still necessary. That said, for a quick, effective way to keep your grill clean, this brush gets the job done.

This is a very well designed and well made grill brush. The cleaning surfaces are made of stainless steel and the handles are made of a high density polymer. The design of the cleaning head is very effective. It also eliminates brush fibers from being released on the grill and making their way into the food. It has a circular bristle-like brush cleaning head and a flat scraper. The handle is assembled in two sections for use as a shorter or longer handle (I prefer the longer handle arrangement). This is a very high quality grill brush and has shown little signs of wear after many uses.
