This is a great coaster - it doesn't generate liquid or condensation like some other coasters do. We don't use it as a traditional coaster, but it's perfect for what we do use it for. We have a ninja coffee maker and my husband uses a hyper chiller with it. I didn't want the water or coldness to damage the hot plate, so we put the coaster on top of the hot plate for the hyper chiller to sit on. It fits perfectly and does its job.It is really easy to clean and keeps things tidy.If you want to use it as a traditional coaster, it's a great size. It will hold normal glasses as well as all the popular tumblers and water bottles there are. Plus it has little ridges to catch any water, spills, or potential condensation (although we haven't seen any).

I like how the silicone material "sticks" to the glass table and one isn't left chasing a rogue coaster. I did think the grooves would catch the condensation coming off the whiskey glass, and it does, but somehow the glass bottom is still slightly wet. It's a very minimalist and functional coaster.
