Did NOT fit on my 2017 passat. Do you have instructions on this hitch or is there another one. And if there is another one could this hitch be exchanged. And we will pay the difference. The item is still new, we just tried this week to put on hitch and it didn't fit.

Worked well on 2002 Passat GLX. Hooked it over the lip on the bumper on one side and under on the other. Seems very secure but was a little more difficult to install than expected (have good drill bits)

I'm similar to one I've seen used in Germany well-hidden. The jerk I had install it really did a bad job he really didn't want to use someone else's hitch even though it was better make sure you talk to the hitch guy and Noah are even know hits guy's wants to do it and I'll screw you up on purpose.

Stout little hitch for my 2000 VW Passat. I had my mechanic do the install, and it took them longer than the estimated installation time on the packaging - and they were using a lift. So, maybe plan on more time and/or money for the install. My mechanic said positive things about its build quality. Recently used the hitch to pull a small trailer with a load of mulch (barely within class 1 limits) and it worked like a champ.
