I like the fact that this hitch doesn’t stick out of the back end of my car. I don’t have to worry about backing up and hitting something. It’s very sturdy.

Install instructions are straight forward. Build quality seems decent. This will not fit on a TDI Beetle & will require fabrication to make it work

I was assured by Curt manufacturer and Amazon that this hitch would fit a atandard VW 2013 Beetle. It does not fit!!! It only fits on the turbo or convertible models. Trying to make a return was a nightmare! Very dissatisfied!

We bought it for a bike rack and we will not be using it as a trailer hitch. As a bike rack receiver, it works great for 1 or 2 bikes. The receiver lowers the ground clearance in the rear. It has already scraped the ground when we pulled out of some driveways. It looks great and works great for our purpose.
