These raw steel components are made from solid steel for maximum strength, and they come ready to be welded together in whatever form you need to get the job done. CURT fabrication steel receiver tubing can be used to extend the reach of your receiver or to create a piece of custom towing equipment. Each unit is equipped with a 1/2" reinforcing collar for extra strength and has a raw finish to be ready for welding. This receiver tube has a 2" x 2" opening and measures 24" in length.

It's strong, thick, heavy-duty. Works great. I am not using them as a receiver hitch but rather as a telescoping rack for my overland trailer build so I can raise and lower my tent.

I have added pictures to show the correct dimensions of their receiver hitch. Their drawing shows an outside dimension of 2.0" where it is actually 2.5" . They do mention that it receives a 2" hitch, but their drawing was contradicting that.

Very well made receiver. The metal had a nice smooth finish on it and was not too oily so cleanup before painting was really easy.

I found a box at my garage door, the box was broken open. the item was in a smaller package and it was not broken, the item was heavy duty and not damaged, but the big box was broken, there was nothing to let us know that the package had arrived and there was rain in the forecast. Fortunately I opened the garage door and saw the package and got it in before the rain. The product is fine but you are better than what I saw on packaging ansd delivery

It's a steel square tube. Exactly as described and works as advertised. Ordered this to extend the hitch past the camper bottom when using a cargo carrier. Had some 2" solid square stock already so this is exactly wanted I wanted.
