The pin is 1/2 inch diameter not 3/8. Hard to order what I need without accurate dimensions.

The chain hooks that are installed from factory won't fit my hitch. These will work

Had to return because we didn’t realize our new hitch already came with these, but if it hadn’t we would still be using them. Quality seemed wonderful!

The opening is big enough to go around the Ford factory safety chain in-bed pucks on my 2019 F-350. It's also stamped Grade 70. Those were the 2 most important things for me with this purchase.I also have had very good luck with Curt products.

Curt Manufacturing states that they are made in the USA. Well my hook came in and has China Stamped on it. Looking at it the hook does not look as well made as my old Curt hook that is stamped Forged Curt. The forging is ruffer and the latch is made of lighter metal. The latch spring is smaller. Time will tell if it will hold up to use, But I am not sure I want to trust my life and my rig to something that looks to be made subpar.
