Had the Curt rotoflex. My old trailer had an airbag set up. The rotoflex was terrible in comparison. When I bought I scheduled the day and time. The time got changed and then they never showed up. The next day they called me to tell me they could deliver it the day after between 12:00 and 4:00. No call, no show and even Amazon couldn't figure out where it was at. After talking to customer service. They called me at 7:00 and said they were 5 minutes out. Regardless, insulation was easy but even after the measurements I want to be tilted back way too much. Trying to move it up higher. I discovered that it was about an 1/8 inch. Too big to move it up any higher. After a little bit of grinding I was able to move it up and level out. My trailer. Had one trip already and night and day the difference. Chucking is still there a little bit, but 10 times better than before. The zorbs the bumps and shocks and makes it for a much more comfortable. Long distance ride. Expensive item but well worth it if you're doing a lot of hauling. My trailer is about 10,000 loaded. I only had to inflate the 45 PSI which is the minimum but it rides terrific.

I’m not sure how people define “chucking”. My definition is the fore and aft movement of the fifth wheel as you’re going forward down the road. I found this pin box did little to eliminate that. I took a month trip with the old pin box and a month trip right after installing the new pin box over many of the same roads. If the road is poured concrete with lots of expansion joints it caused my combo to “Chuck “ the same amount regardless of the pin box. Over smooth roads it may have smoothed the ride but I’m not really sure because on a smooth road I wasn’t having problems anyway. I am sure I have not gotten 1400 bucks of improvement in my ride. Just manage your level of expectations.

Box was destroyed. Was loosely attached to pallet. Any instructions or data was gone. Pin box works well. Had it and new tires installed and unit aligned. Up a half a mile to gallon and smoother ride

Very very good product. We have a front kitchen in our 5th wheel an nothing moved around an no glass broken everything stayed put. An the ride in the truck a lot better no more double shock after bumps. Highly recommend this product. Only bad thing is it came with no instructions or on the shock no sticker to tell you the air bag is inflated at the right psi

The shipping they use is absolutely garbage. Our hitch was all scratched before we even got it. It is functional but I shouldn't have had to pay this much for an item that looks like I bought it used.

I installed this on our brand new 12000lb 38 foot 5th. For the last two seasons we had been pulling a 9000lb 30 foot with regular pin box. The upgraded pin box is worth every cent, and made our first trip (1000 miles) much more comfortable. After experiencing the “pounding” of the old conventional pin box/rig, the upgraded box reduced almost all the pounding on the truck bed, thus improved drivability and overall ride comfort.

This unit did an amazing job of softening the movement and bouncing of our 42' 5th Wheel travel trailer. It is a 16,000 pound trailer and I immediately noticed that we weren't getting the banging we normally got when passing over small bumps. It really helps the trailer run much smoother and pull easier. Installation was easy once we figured out the right height of the bolt pattern. We just lifted it into place with a floor jack on the bed of the truck and it went right into place.

You will not believe how long you pulled your 5th wheel without this! It is as if there is a different camper or truck in the equation. Think about it....the people that haul trailers for a living are the semi trucks. They KNOW trailers and pulling safely! 5th wheel hitch (not gooseneck) and EVERYTHING air.....air bag suspension, air bagged cab even an air ride seat in the air bagged cab!This will take away the "trailer moving the truck" (assuming you have the right sized truck to start with) and for me, took away the "on edge" I had when towing. I can now actually relax and drive the truck, knowing the trailer is there and the truck is doing its job.You will need help or a tractor to install this thing.IT IS HEAVY, and well made! I used a front end loader to lift it into place. Another thing that will surprise you is how light and flimsy the factory box is. I can literally throw it across the shop!! You will feel much better with this beast in place of the soup can box you just removed. I LOVE IT! Just wished I had bought it sooner.
