These have a million and one uses. My primary reason for getting them was to hang something equitant to café curtains across my bedroom windows to let in light on the top half of the double-hung and still offer privacy on the bottom half. These were perfect for that purpose, but I've already found several other uses around the house in only a few days. I created a little photo holder for my desk at work with some ribbon pinned at both ends. I've attached a few to my shower caddy to clip some items to. I've attached a few to my indoor plant shelves to attach gloves and other tools. I expect to find lots more uses in the coming days. At this price point, I will probably order another pack to have around.The hook part is very strong. I was able to close the loop using a pliers, but it took a fair amount of strength, so I know it won't bend on it's own. The clip is super strong. It easily holds several pounds without the item slipping out of the clip.The added bonus is the nice plastic container the clips come in. For the price, I would have expected just a plastic bag, so this container is perfect for storing the extra clips.

*For the purpose of this review, I took a single clip, clipped it to my bag that was full of junk (8 lbs. worth), and hung it from a stainless steel door pull. It did not bend and there was zero slippage from the clip itself. That's an impressive performance from one tiny clip (the clip part itself is a couple of millimeters shy of a half-inch).These were perfect for my use, which was to hang a curtain across a door frame with a wire instead of a tension rod. The alligator teeth fit together perfectly and are very strong! The hook/loop isn't quite as strong, but with the combined power of a series to hold up the material, I could probably get a decent-sized quilt to hang from these.For purposes of running a string of lights from a wire, I can't imagine a more convenient way to do it. Clip them to your lights, then walk along and hang the hooks. Easy-peasy, and easy to switch out. I can't wait to find something else to use these for. What a weird thing to love! Even the box they come in is good quality.

the hooks do not fit en expanding rod.. I had to bend them to make them fit and they don't hold the item i wanted to hang

This is a 25 pack of teeny tiny black alligator clips that hang from a tiny hook. The hook that they hang from is a little more than .25". The alligator part has little teeth that will hold firmly, and the spring is pretty strong. These are great for anywhere you need to hang some kind of fabric from a thin wire cable or some kind of mesh. If you have the right kind of curtain rod rings, you can change the curtain without taking the whole thing down. There are so many uses for this. Another nice thing is that they come in a plastic box. Since they are so small, it would be easy to lose them. I think that you are getting a bargain for their price. Overall, I am really happy with these.

These clips are great, especially considering the price. I got them mainly for curtains, but I could see a million uses for them. The clamp very strongly and the hook part is very sturdy. They are quite small, but for most applications that is a plus.

Pay close attention to the measurements of the things that you buy and I am only reminding you because I fail sometimes that said, these clips are a lot smaller than what I was thinking that they were going to be. But I have kept them and I am planning on using them someday for who knows what but I do know that whatever they do get used for will be small .But interesting fact about these clips was that they might be small but they do have a very secure tight clamp so they may surprise me as to what they do get used for.I do recommend them if these are something that you need to hang up something somewhere they are a great clip with a very stable secure clamp so I just might be buying another set soon as I have ideas popping up in my mind as I'm writing this review.
