Curtain rod tape really helped eliminate the loud sound of rings sliding across rod. It smoothes out the snag of the extension part, and prevents excessive tugging. I did 2 rows of tape, so need to order more for 2nd window treatment in home.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The included cutting tool is small but helpful; it makes it worth purchasing this item. I easily applied this to a curved shower curtain rod. Just use one hand to release the tape with a lot of lead, and the other to smooth the tape down as you go (especially important if you need to follow the curve for a rod that isn't straight).

This is the best product I have ever seen for this problem. Easy to use, curtains glide smoothly and quietly. Saved us from buying new curtain rods or different curtains. Excellent and very cost friendly.

I use it for my wooden curtain rod and rings. When i close our curtain the rings do not slide smoothly because the friction is wood to wood. I bought this tape and applied the tape on my wooden rod. This is really easy to put on the rod. My only challenge is i am unable to put the tape on each end of the rod because the rings are already piled on each end of the rod. Sure i can take the rings out but it’s kind of a pain to take them out because the rod is screwed on the brackets. So i just placed the tape up to where the rods will slide often and it works like a miracle. Not only the rod slides quietly, it also glides very smoothly. I highly recommend this tape. Let’s see how long it last hopefully it last a long long time.

I love to discover things like this. A small annoyance gone. I hated how my curtains got stuck on my adjustable rods along the seems. This stuff made them slide along that rod like butta. Now I won't be waking up and struggling to open my shades every morning. I won't be starting my day with this minor annoyance. I will fling my curtains open with no impotence. Also, there was enough to solve the same issue with my bath curtain, so again I will be entering and exiting my shower lacking that impotence. Much better way to start the day.The installation was easy. I cleaned the rods and the stuff seemed to stick well, but was forgiving. I was able to lift and reposition with ease. I have blackout curtains with rods that curve towards the wall. It doesn't easily bend around the about 90° angle, but I cut it at an angle in each corner and the curtain seems to be sliding over unimpeded. Also, the little cutting tool included is super nice. Sharp and pretty solid. It'll be great for trimming plants and/or threads and things. So, nice yet unnecessary for the price point.I used about one and a quarter rolls on two windows and one curved bathtub rod. And also, looking at them you would never notice it was on there.
