They absolutely work for what I needed however if they are pulled apart or tugged on a little more than needed they do start to look there elasticity and be become slightly longer than originally.

I put new curtains in all of the windows in my class A 40' class A Motorcoach. These ties are perfect for containing the curtains when they are open. The magnets are strong and work very well. Sturdy construction. No drawbacks at all. I'm very pleased. jmb

I do like these magnetic tie backs. That having been said, I had to glue one back together as soon as I opened the bog.

I was super excited about getting these as they perfectly match the curtains I was using them with. Initially, I liked their soft feel and easy magnetic clasps…but unfortunately, daily use proved to be too much for the fabric and stitching, both of which are coming apart. I suppose if you use and forget they are fine, but it you use them every day, I’d shop elsewhere.
