Prep time was the hard part. Just make sure you do it right and get all the old carpet and glue off , sand it good, vaccum it out and use prepsol to clean it and it will be good to go. Use a good etching primer to bond with the aluminum. Once I got it ready it was super easy to spray. Just follow the instructions and be ready with some urethane reducer to run through the gun between bottles. I did 3 coats in the floor of my Alumaweld and two up on the sides and console. It came out great.

Great product and easy to spray, but make sure you practice on something before you spray it. I would also recommend mixing it really well before spraying because I had a few clogs when I got to the bottom of three of the cans. The sprayer that came with the the kit is so so and the trigger does bend sideways easily. I don’t know about longevity of the product since it was only sprayed three weeks ago. The pewter color sparkles in the sun, and looks like primer gray in the shade.
