Sorry, I must retract my former review, so I suppose we'll call it an update. I've now had this product for less than five month and it is literally falling apart. It is to the point now where it is totally useless. I'm very careful how I raise it, slow and even. Regardless, each time I raise it, it get a little more jacked up, and that may be an understatement. Now the vertical strings are frayed to the point where it is totally non-functional. In essence it binds up badly. I had no choice but to trash it. Two hundred bucks down the drain. And unfortunately my return date has past. DON'T DO IT!

I installed these blinds inside the front door sidelights and they are great. They were very easy to install and the outside sun is no longer an issue because of the room darkening blinds. I am very happy with the blinds

Ordered these for bedroom , to much light coming into bedroom from neighbors lights .Easy to install but they were supposed to close tight to control amount of light in bedroom.They still allowed to much light into bedroom andAre not easy to adjust .They also took to long to arrive as they were shipped from China.
