I had added LED lights to my 08 street glide and I noticed the key fob light on my bike for some time and my lights flash fast …which didn’t bother me but… I never put 2 and 2 together until I changed the battery on my key fob and it didn’t clear the light on my dash ..I did some research and found that a load equalizer needed to be installed and it would fix the fast flash problem and it cleared my key fob light on my dash …it worked so far

I have a CVO 2010 Electra Glide Ultra which is for some reason very difficult to get parts for.The seller answered my questions quickly and even offered to cancel my order and let me order a lord equalizer and rear brake flash which is two things integrated into one. For both separately it’s around 275 but integrated it’s roughly 200 plus tax.I’m an idiot and just ordered the load equalizer.Took me longer to take the seat off than anything. And it’s sitting right on the left side close to the rider backrest assembly.Plugged it in, did the two right two left then back to right signals and it works. My key light doesn’t come on anymore when I hit the signal, and it eliminated my fuel gauge needle bouncing all over the place.Package came before the time specified by Amazon. All in all, great experience and service. Will be buying the triple play brake doohickey soon.

I have a 2005 Road King I got a couple years ago. I wasn't happy with the brightness of the oem incandescent bulbs. The old 1156 and 1157 socket style automotive bulbs that have been around forever. So I started buying pretty expensive led replacements. But I soon found out I was getting hyper flash blinking and also a check engine light on my dash panel. So after some research I determined with a bike as old as mine I needed to purchase a signal stabilizer. I was going to go cheaper but read a lot of comments about the cheaper ones getting hot and failing so that led me to this one which gets great reviews. The directions are simple. It worked right out of the gate on the 'normal' setting for me. No trouble codes, now and my lights work perfectly and they are like 5 times brighter. I'm a happy biker. I would recommend this to anybody to is riding around with dim bulbs. You'll never know but it could save your life.

I purchased this for my 2008 Street Glide, Custom Dynamics is a great company with a great product, I will get that right out in the open so everyone that reads this will understand the meaning & reason for the one star.I bought this because it states on the description of the product not only on Amazon but the package itself, It says its for the year and model of my bike but when opening the package I pulled my hair out looking and looking where too plug this in. Now let me explain I am a self employed small engine dealer for Briggs & Stratton, I'm not in any way shape or form stupid, But I had to look at another street glide same year as mine a friend of mine owns, There was no place too plug this stabilizer in, the plugs were different. After further research it was the wrong one. It was either boxed wrong and therefore the description was wrong and I bought the wrong one by mistake, Yes honest mistake but who was too know, the picture is the right one but the one I had shipped to me was not. So, If you are to buy one of these I'm not sure how you would check too make sure its the right part but as most of us know there is no return on electrical system parts, In this case it was never plugged in to burn it up or short out, I have different plugs on my bike as all the 08's do. Just a heads up on that FYI, I will follow up on that with Custom Dynamics on Monday instead of going through all the red tape with Amazon.

Plug and Play, Worked Exactly as described... I installed this on a 2013 FLHTK (Ultra Limited) along with Harley Davidson’s Brake, Turn, Run Harness for the Tour Pak... In the directions for the Harley Tour Pak harness it states specifically that the Y harness connector in this kit must be connected to the motorcycles rear fender harness first before any other type of power stabilizer for led lights... I followed the directions for both the Harley harness and the Custom Dynamics LED Power Stabilizer it ALL works Flawlessly!!! I left the setting on the Custom Dynamics stabilizer on normal, there’s no hyper flash and Very BRIGHT LEDs!!! THANKS

I, initially thought that after installing LED clusters for the front (running and turn signals) and the rear (running, brake and turn signals) would not need to use any kind of load equalizer in my '06 HD FXDI. I was able to re-calibrate the blinking rate following a procedure I found in the LED manufacturer's site. However, every time I would use either side turn signals, the security system would lock the electronic circuits. Not a big deal, because it could be restored (unlock) using the hazard lights, but after a few dozen turns it became annoying. I did not know, and still do not know the practical effect of riding a bike with the electronic safety circuit locked, but I was sure that it was NOT a good thing.I purchased this Custom Dynamics GEN2SSHD load equalizer, mainly for peace of mind, and it works just as it is supposed to work. I was told at the HD dealership that newer bikes DON’T need a load equalizer for LED lights. The installation was not difficult at all, just removed the seat, and pull out a bit of spaghetti of wires I have because of a few extras, including a few relays for an air horn and additional rear lights, two or three fuse holders, and a module to convert rear turn signals to running, brake and turn signal lights. This load equalizer comes with the right connectors for your bike (beware that there are about six or seven different versions, mainly because of connectors). At first, after installing it, didn't work because instructions said installing it first next to the fender side going to the lights, but because I have the converter module for the rear turn signal lights, I then interpreted ‘first’ BEFORE the converter module, leaving this load equalizer first, then the converter module to the connector going to the rear fender. The CS load equalizer has a little switch on the side, which I left it at NORMAL.A bit of a challenge was to re-accommodate all the spaghetti back under the seat, nothing to do with the product, but with a bit of patience and a few attempts moving things around, it fit decently well. It helps that this load equalizer is not too big and it is fairly thin, compared with other options that are bulkier. The length of the wiring allows to move it around without re-arranging the connectors.Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. Every time I turn on a signal light, I know this little thing is doing its job.
