Great for low security /preventing stuff from walking away. Great for keg parties to keep your tap from vanishing in the fray. Keep skis and snowboards from getting swiped at the rack; lock ladders and other gear down on racks or in the bed of your truck when you make quick stops. Good for travel; keep your bags secured in a lobby /airport /hostel temporarily.Prevents opportunist type Swipers from grab and dash. Simple operation and pretty strong for what it is. Definitely not for unsupervised, long term storage and will not stand up to strong cutting tools. Would not trust this to an expensive bike that is not being monitored. But this compact, locking leash fulfills a useful role in keeping the 'honest' honest. Includes pass through loop for storing in a compact circle +tool for combo adjustment.

As a grandma, I needed a pretty lightweight double stroller to push my grandchildren in. To get one that I could lift in and out of the car meant I had to spend a bit of money. That is ok once but I wouldn’t be able to replace it if it went missing so I ordered this. I rarely leave my stroller out in public but there are occasional times when it is out of my sight at parks/museums/etc.. I like this combination lock to give me a little more security. It is not going to prevent a determined thief but it might prevent a spur of the moment thief of opportunity. It is a little tricky to lock down a stroller because some public places will not let you attach a stroller lock to a permanent structure (I heard Disney is one but don’t know personally ).Therefore, you might need to just be able to prevent it from being rolled. Unfortunately, at only about 28 inches it is not long enough to latch on to both wheels at the same time, but this will at least stop one wheel from turning which might make a thief have second thoughts or be more obvious. I will have to play with it to see where best to put it on the stroller. As far as the lock, I am pleased with how easy it was to reset the 4 digit combination and how securely it holds. I like that I don’t have a separate lock and chain. The “chain” is actually metal with a rubbery type coating on it to make it easier to handle. One potential weakness is that you could move the reset button and reset the combination if you carried a small enough screwdriver. Again, this will protect from an opportunistic thief but not a determined, premeditated theft. I am pleased to at least take this precaution.

I am providing the review on the longer version. It was very easy to set the combination. From there, it really works like a zip tie - which makes it flexible to secure something large or small. It would be on the less secure end of locks - it's pretty thin, and even with the stainless steel core, it can probably be cut pretty easily. **The seller does an EXCELLENT job in the posting to note that this is meant for quick stops and not to be relied upon** That being said, it locks up the motorcycle helmet just fine - with the length, I can run it through the arm of the motorcycle jacket and lock that up on the frame. I definitely love the build of this. (I cannot comment on overall durability or how it would perform with getting wet (rain) at this time)

This review is for: CXWXC Zip Tie Lock - 4-Digit Combo Cable Locks for Bike Motorcycle Helmet, Skateboard, Skis, Snowboard, Stroller & Cabinet - Ideal for Lightweight Security (Yellow, 70CM)This is a nice little lock! Good for locking a helmet to a motorcycle, or even using at the gym. It's fairly robust but could easily be bypassed with some loppers or heavy side cutters. It doesn't try and say its amazing security - it's GOOD though. My one issue that I have with it, and why I knocked off a star - when you lock it the zip tie function is still active. Meaning to say that even when it is locked - you can make it tighter and cinch it. It basically is 1 way, like a zip tie, until you unlock it, then you can retract it. It's not a huge deal but sometimes you don't want it to be able to get tighter - and there is no preventing it from some passerby cinching it tighter or something stupid. It's not a huge deal but I see it as a potential issue.Otherwise - good product that I keep in my motorcycle bag.

I originally had a lower rating due to the fact that only one lock worked when they arrived.Heads up on how we fixed the issue: The one lock that had a gentle bend attaching it to the packaging worked great. The one with a sharp angle attaching it to the packaging was jammed. The only way to get it to work was with some serious force to push the lock tighter past the bend. Once that was moved we were able to mold the cable to a gentle bend and now it seems to work ok. It took a lot of strength though to push it tighter. I think the locks will both be fine for what we need them for now.

I recently picked up this snowboard lock, which has completely changed my experience on the mountain. It’s lightweight and doesn’t take up space in my pack. What I love most is the peace of mind it gives me. Whether grabbing lunch at the lodge or taking a quick break, I can leave my board knowing it’s secure. The lock is super easy to use, and it attaches quickly to racks or rails. It’s one of those small investments that pays off big—no more constantly keeping one eye on my board or stressing about theft. If you value your gear and your time on the slopes, this lock is a no-brainer.
