This valve failed after three days. Poured water all down my driveway. Too be fair, after removing and examination, I found all kinds of debris in the filter which probably caused the failure. I replaced with alternate valve and it works perfectly. I am changing my review to a more positive one.

I have been using one of these on a wooden mount that positions it at the level I want the water level in my saltwater pool. So far, so good. It is holding up well as still works like new. The salt exposure has not been an issue. I can recommend.

get this one, metal is always better than PVC
