The Handguards look great and feel sturdy. Replacing bar mounted Cycra Ultras which I broke in a crash (they were already damaged from another crash). I did not understand that HCM meant Handlebar Clamp Mount. This style removes the top clamp and mounts there instead of around the handlebar. I read pros and cons then decided to proceed with the mount. The plastic deflector is difficult to mount on to the bar. I used a rubber mallet to snap it into place so the screws could reach the threads. I expected the vent covers to slide back and forth to open the vents. No, they have little screws and washers. The vent covers are either mounted or not. Probably will never use them.

The hand guards are very easy to mount and cleared all the street legal components on the handlebars of my KTM 250 exc-f, however after two rides the "flex zones" are apparently a weak point in the design and have already cracked. I would recommend one of their other models that do not have the ventilating system for more strength.
