As stated in my title it doesn’t exactly fit 35mm MTB handlebars. I’ve recently bought a new MTB that has 35mm handlebars. So I was hoping this mount would work as my old MTB was 31.8 and my current cygolite mount didn’t fit. To be fair it fits around the handlebar. However you can turn the thumbscrew as tight as your fingers will go and it doesn’t tighten it. The problem lies in the fact in order to fit 35mm bars you cannot use any of the rubber shims. So it’s bar plastic trying to grip the bar. Very disappointed because now I have an expensive cygolite I cannot use as they don’t have a mount that will fit these handlebars.If you have 31.8 or 25.4 handlebars I imagine this mount will work well for you. It also sits a little lower than my original mount which is nice and clean looking.
