I'm very happy. I replaced the Giannini strings I had with these D'Addario ones and they have a much fuller sound, it was a big difference. I think it is because these D'Addario strings are a little thicker.

It’s ok… works well but little bit fragile. The sound quality is good and it is easy to install.

i'm very surprised by the clarity of the sound :) good investment. I bought cheapest strings at the begining, awfull sound and they brake after trying to tune the cavaco.

A corda chegou e com um dia de uso a mesma já enferrujou. Não tem proteção alguma. O som é bom, mas com a ferrugem acelerada não deve durar nem uma semana.

I see a lot of negative reviews from people who bought these strings thinking they are guitar strings. THEY ARE NOT. These strings were made for cavaquinho, a brazilian 4-string instrument used mostly in samba. It is significantly shorter than a guitar and is usually tuned D-G-B-D. It's a niche instrument. Don't buy these strings unless you want to use them in a cavaquinho, they wont fit.Now for the actual review: These strings are OK. They are not going to blow your mind with the sound quality and are 3x more expensive than really good strings bought in Brazil and shipped here (if you are not in a hurry, I highly recommend doing that). I found the sound these produce a bit soulless... it's just metal specially for the thicker ones. BUT the hold the tune and seem durable thus a 3-star.I bought in an emergency, they arrived quickly and are serving the purpose well enough...

Im not an expert on this item since I purchased it for my husband I tought it was ok since it says its a string SET however it comes with just one string :(
