It's made wonderfully. Care was taken with the making of this guitar. They didn't cut corners with the sound. It produces beautiful music, I don't know about shredding. The headstock and tuners are unique but in a good way( not weird or insightly). D'angelico is a New York manufacturer etc. And the headstock and tuners give homage to New York.

Sounds as good as my Taylor… I can’t say enough good things about this guitar. I also am very pleased that it was ready to go. It didn’t need any adjusting only to tune it to the key you want. The parts like the tuner and plastics are not as good of a quality of course as a Taylor… The knobs on the Eq are almost disappeared although I would just put a little color strip on them and they’re perfect. I would recommend to just put colored lines on them. Other than that I have found a gem… i’ve been looking for a guitar that not only sounds great plugged up but one that sounds just as good without the amp…I will stick to this brand from now on there’s lots to choose from. I’m a happy camper!

I've been wanting one of these Angelico guitars but was skeptical...I can tell you that I'm no longer skeptical. This is a fantastic accoustic/electric guitar and you will not be disappointed. It is show and gig worthy. Tuning keys are super smooth and the electronics are very well planned out with excellent EQ and boost and a nice built in tuner with bypass. And the price is very affordable. I've been playing for 30 years and I'd say this are is as good as $1000 models. Player tested and I approve!!

Guitar has great sound quality, plugged in or not.It was set up really well, the action is nice and low.Just tweaked the neck less than a quarter turn on the truss rod and tuned it up and it's good to go.No fret sprout or sharp edges. Normally I file the bridge saddle down to lower the action, change the strings, polish the frets and oil the fret board but this guitar didn't need any of that. I'll probably do it when I need to change the strings. The electronics are very good, the wiring inside is tight and doesn't flop around, and the tuner is at least as good as my clip on Snark tuner. Cosmetically the guitar has no flaws in the finish,no dents, dings or scratches. It came with a well padded gig bag. The only thing I would say is the wine color is very dark ( darker than the pictures), almost black but the woodgrain is visible. I have a Washburn acoustic that's more expensive than this and I think this D'Angelico is a better sounding guitar.Would definitely recommend this guitar.

As the title states. It's quite lovely to look at. it reminds me of that moment in a cappuccino when the very bottom of the frothed milk flows touches the expresso. These dark wood tones are quite mesmerizing. It includes a tuner however mine doesn't always work. The build quality seems light and will probably one day spontaneously break. In the meantime it's a lovely guitar, was so very inexpensive, and sounds like a really low priced Taylor. But, by comparison to other guitars in this price range, it's great and it's amazing that D'angelico would bother to make this model. On behalf of all bedroom musicians, thank you for combining beauty sound and cost.

This is my fifth guitar. I have benn loking for a guitar that was both a true acustic, but also electric, without one taking away from the other. This guitar is perfect in this price range. It has a wonderful sound by itself. The built in tuner is very easy to use and appropriately placed where it can be seen while tunig the guitar. The sound on the amplifier is equally great. I have a simple one with very limited features so the good armonic sound is all guitar generated. The color is beautiful, but there are so many guitars with beutiful colors but poor sound. This one has both. The only improvement I would recommed is on the knobs egulating volume and sound. The mark on the knobs is truly hard to see. Making it a different color would really improve visibility.I highly recommed this guitar if you are looking for one under $500

25 years I’ve been playing. I play just about every day. I’ve never had the experience with any other guitar I’ve owned. Out of the box it was prestrung (don’t know what strings they used), and the digital needle tuner is great in itself, but once I started strumming & picking it was like I found a part of my soul that was buried. Each note is clear, the sound rings out with a natural reverb, and unnatural sustain. I played 2 of the higher priced models at a few different Guitar Centers in Ohio, and none of them can match this prize. Also, I have yet to test the electronics, but I’m more into the “feel” produced and this... it just resonates through you. I don’t know how long this will last structurally, but hopefully I will never find out.
