I got this for my carnivorous plants, it came packaged perfectly and is very beautiful. Only downside is that it does leak, which is unfortunate as it is marked for plants. To be fair, the plants they listed require less water than mine, it is probably better for succulents or cacti. I think some aquarium sealant will fix the issue, I will have to remove my setup and try again. Overall it is still worth it, just be more mindful than I was about which plants you are growing here :)

I purchased one of these little cases about five years ago, and it was pretty much perfect for my intended use--housing a scene made with dollhouse miniatures. It held up very well until I had to move to a new home, and the glass panes were cracked during the move (which was at least partially my fault, and the rest of it was on the movers). I just received my replacement, and I'd applied imitation gold leaf to a shelf I'd planned to keep it on in preparation for setting it up in a new area. This was when I noticed that the "gold" finish advertised for this item is nowhere near any semblance of the yellow metal commonly associated with gold. It's really more copper-colored. It hadn't mattered before, which is why I hadn't thought of it earlier. I've picked up a paint-on gold leaf, and with some painter's tape to block off the glass I'm going to attempt to actually turn this thing golden.The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's described as being golden colored and it's not. Otherwise, it's perfect!

I gave 3 stars because though it looks nice the glass was shattered when received. Maybe Amazon should label fragile on box. Returned and waiting on replacement

I will still use this for wedding cards & to house plants in the future, however I didn’t realize it was such an intense copper color. Was hoping for gold. You could maybe seal the edges with clear silicone if you used it as an actual terrarium, but it will leak as other reviews suggest.

I bought this model 2 months ago, thinking to make it a greenhouse for my airplants. It did a very good job on that, in addition to the graceful look. Some previous comments about lack of air tightness - If you are intending to use it for a greenhouse, air-tight may not work because your plants also need air to breathe. I can't justify for other uses, but for me, it works perfectly well. However, It's quite smaller than what I thought. It won't hold miniature orchids.

We purchased this to be used as a wedding card box (we added a custom decal from Etsy). The terrarium was delivered safely (comes in a box with protective styrofoam) and quickly. By the end of the wedding, it comfortably fit 60 cards in various sizes. I absolutely love the rose gold color & this can be used as a wedding memento for years to come. I highly recommend purchasing, as this saved us some money! Other card holders (boxes to bird cages) range from $60-$200 so this terrarium was a steal.

Bought this to use in our wedding as a card box and it is absolutely stunning! Heavy and great quality. Came very well packaged and is the perfect size. We plan to use this after our wedding as a shadow box but you can use this item for so many things/decor.I was looking for copper as that is the accent color in our wedding. It says copper in the name of the item on Amazon however the box calls it out as Rose Gold. It doesn't give off a pink tint so it looks great with my other copper decor.Highly recommend!
