The hydraulic filter is the one right in front of the loader control block.This might fit some 580 models but not the 580bIt looks the same but the hole measures 1.1" while the old one measures 1.25 making it impossible to slide on the center tube. The correct filter for the 580b is wix 51760.I still went with 4 stars because the filter is of good quality and probably fits most of the tractors listed, but not the 580b.If you're looking at buying this, take your old one out and measure the hole before buying. If it's bigger then 1.1" This is not going to fit and you can't make the hole larger as the o-ring is in a small grove.Great item if it fits your tractor
