We bought these to use with our pellet gun. They work perfectly for our needs. They have one sharp end which helps to take care of small game that cause damage. This was a good purchase.

I have an Sig Saur rifle. It’s picky about what it likes. When I bought it. I also got a bunch of pellets to try. Various kinds. From hollows to rounded. These were by far the best tho. They sight in well. And shoot straight. They aren’t very heavy. Which means they stay on path in flight. I likes them. Yes. Yes I do. I’ve run thru about 1000 so far. And just bought 6 more of the 250s.

I like these pellets for their lower cost ,wide availability and utility. These work just fine in my Daisy ,Crosman and Umarex air guns. Their lower cost make them a more affordable way of getting past that break in period where air guns start to settle in and achieve best results. During that phase I can also notice if a particular air gun is working well with them enough to use for accurate humane pest control. For that purpose they do work quite well on pesky critters around the farm. FWIW I do use a pellet resizer when processing my pellets to have a bit more down range consistency. Yeah there are better higher quality .177 pellets out there but I am not about to spend$$$$ on H&N etc just to break in air guns and plink a rat or two--- not that there is anything wrong with that, you do you.

A perfect shot for cheap plinking of tin cans.I would not recommend pointed pellets for pest control as the accuracy is lacking ( For all brands )

Hi -Today I weighed my Daisy pointed pellets.New Daisy Precision Max Premium Grade .177 cal 4.5mm pointed lead airgun pellets.I couldn't find a declared weight or a stated weight here at Amazon. It might be over there at the Daisy website but I didn't see it here anywhere.Today I made 10 runs of tests with a 200g x 0.01g scale that tests very accurate with my calibration weights. Results of my Daisy pointed pellets - lead pellets - Pointed lead airgun pellets.Weighed 10 times today 22 Nov 2013 in one lot of 100 pellets each time -But in two different containers - two different tare weights but still the same 100 pellets -Averages -Each Daisy pellet calculated out to 0.465 grams and 7.178 grains.465 mg & 7.178 grains each. Results were very consistent.New Daisy pointed pellets..177 caliber Premium-Grade Precision Max 4.5mm lead pellets. One batch of 100 pellets weighed 10 times.-----------------------------------------I can't tell you anything about their flight trajectory or their penetration into a telephone book or their accuracy or anything like that. But I can tell you what a sample of mine weighed in grams & in grains today. Now I only did one batch of 100, but at least it does give you some kind of a baseline to start with until you get other data to look at about this model of airgun pellet. In terms of unit weight.I also have a can of Crosman Destroyers .177 cal & 4.5mm.The Amazon ads for that item declare 7.9 grains per pellet.Doesn't mention that on the metal can though, not on my metal can of them anyway. The Daisy pointed pellet metal can that I have makes no mention of the pellet weight either.I have yet to weigh my Crosman Destroyers. But knowing me as I know me, I'll probably do that too.C SmithMaryland
