The left glove tore on MY FIRST DAY of snowboarding, and I didnt fall on it or anything, just looks like poor sewing quality.Apparently I missed the return window on this, so Amazon won't let me start a return process.

Perfectly protecting the wrists from both sides, a bit bulky but it’s worth the protection

Quite bulky, looking very big. But wristguard inside is really what you buy them for. I hated to wear guard and pulling glives on top. Here it is a solution. They seem very robust as well.So actually it is a great gear. Just very bulky which is not so important for most

Great wrist protection while snowboarding and very warm, even when it zero degrees. This is my second pair and the first pair lasted me over 10 years.

Gift my boyfriend. Loves the wrist support, he has larger hands and they fit very well and they are standing up to his many snowboarding trips.

I used these with my boy scout troop building igloos one day last winter. My hands stayed dry and warm, in spite of handling snow all day long. I was very, very impressed with their performance. For this trip, I removed the plastic guards that would be used by the snow-boarding crowd. I loved the fact that it had the draw string and the Velcro strap around the wrist. That really minimized the amount of snow falling down into the glove.

This is the second time I have bought these. My husband needs these for snowboarding bc we can't afford for him to get hurt! They do a great job of keeping his wrists safe and his hands warm. Only gets 4 stars bc they only last one season before hems come apart but for the price they are a great value! I will be purchasing them again next season :-)

These gloves were not what we expected. Wrist guards tend to have the guard down the front of the wrist so if you fall, the guards take the impact and not your hand/wrist. These gloves have the guard down the back of the hand meaning that although your wrist won't break if you fall, you may be putting your fingers at risk (break them by landing and pushing them backwards against the guards in the gloves). In terms of comfort, wrist guards aren't know to be comfortable (although you get used to them and I have had my Dakine wrist guards for years and they still work) but I think I'd prefer them to these gloves. I get the feeling that this could prove uncomfortable as the week progresses...All in all, I don't think I would buy these again but that is because they are not what I expected. I think anymore, I'll stick to wrist guards and gloves separate!
