The OBERON 5 is the ultimate performer. A compact and elegant floor-standing speaker, housing 2 x 5¼” wood fibre SMC-based woofers and the series’ wide bandwidth 29 mm ultra-lightweight soft dome tweeter. This slim floor-stander will surprise with its ability to deliver a deep firm bass. Together with the clear and well-defined mid-range and the airy high frequencies, this speaker is at home with any music or movie soundtrack.With the launch of the DALI OBERON loudspeaker series, we have picked the best elements from our current speakers and brought them together in a series that delivers on audio quality, looks, and versatility.We have made it easy to integrate the OBERON 5 into any room, as both the driver materials and geometry applied have been selected to achieve a wide dispersion pattern in the listening area. The same principles have been applied in the design of the crossover.As result, you will experience a well-integrated sound, even when listening at a significant off-axis angle. This is important as you are rarely seated directly in front of your loudspeakers when listening to music. An added benefit is seriously reduced harmonic distortion and diffractions causing frequency distortion, as these will always be stronger in an on-axis response. This is also the reason why all DALI speakers are not designed to be toed-in.

Nonostante le dimensioni molto compatte le Oberon 5 garantiscono una resa sulle basse frequenze molto diretta e presente. Merito dei due due woofer. Mediced alti siamo a livelli incredibili per dettaglio e tridimensionalità. La qualità costruttiva dei diffusori - per questa fascia di prezzo - è davvero elevatissima. Prese a 649eu la coppia per il backup friday, mai acquisto fu più azzeccato. Attualmente associate a Marantz PM6006 e relativa sorgente CD6007. Cavi potenza Van Den Hull Snowline...la resa sonora dei diffusori è davvero di alto livello. Li definirei emozionanti!

What a pleasant surprise - make a really satisfying listening experience. Detailed in the bottom end, relaxed through most of the range. I'm powering them with an Arcam Alpha 5+, not the newest nor most powerful of amps, but these speakers make plenty of sound without pushing anything.They are a little shorter than floor standers I have had in past (my main system includes Martin Logan electrostats, which are 5+ feet tall) so the image is a little low in the room, but that is hardly a concern. I'd recommend these speakers - check around on price, there are a couple of different price points it seems.

Now nearly run in I continue to be amazed at the musicality of these speakers. Does not matter what genre of music you send them they acquit themselves so well you forget they are there – it is all about the music after all.My source is a Marantz CD player feeding a Rega Brio amp and then via good old fashioned 79 strand to these wonderful Dali speakers. The “soundstage” is wide and three dimensional and the speakers keep bringing out new elements of album tracks that I had previously missed. Play them loud or quiet and they seem to adjust; filling the room with music.Worth saying that they are also very handsome and complement the room without being intrusive. They seem very unfussy about positioning, delivering a strong bass line and remarkably detailed upper frequencies. I have nothing negative to say as they have met and exceeded my expectations.

Diffusori eleganti e di dimensioni ragionevoli. Hanno una risposta, una potenza ed una fedeltà incredibili per la loro fascia di prezzo. Se volete un HiFi senza dover impegnare casa le consiglio caldamente. Venditore veloce e preciso.
