We got this and used it during the holidays. Christmas and new years. It worked well. We used it to heat up chocolate to dip cookies/strawberries etc in. Was also great to keep the food warm during the feasts. My wife said the best thing for heating chocolate for dipping. The size is as described and worked well for us. Easy to use and versatile with the different heating settings. It looks good we liked the color. It rolls up easily to store.

I used this mat for Christmas dinner. I have the large catering tray systems that use hot water and sterno,but it is somewhat of a hassle to set up and use, plus it takes up a lot of space, plus the extra dish washing it creates! This food warming mat is the solution I didn't know existed, but wish I did sooner!All of my side dishes fit on the mat, and it was so nice to be able to serve everything at the proper and even temperatures. I usually struggle to get everything out at the same time, and often the first things put out are often not warm by the time the last dish makes it way to the table. This year that did not happen, and it was a stress reliever how smooth serving the dinner was. I loved that I didn't have to use precious and minimal oven space to keep everything warm. I had the oven space to heat up the rolls while the side dishes stayed safely warm on the mat.I love the size of the mat, and it accommodates quite a few dishes on it. I also use it for when I forget to take something out for dinner from the freezer. It has a thawing setting that works perfectly to thaw your frozen foods safely and pretty quickly. The warming mat got a lot of comments and questions from my guests who were equally impressed and now want one for themselves!I love this warming mat, its a definite keeper for my household!

This was an impulse buy because of the price. I pulled it out Easter morning for breakfast tacos and it was perfect. Kept the eggs, bacon and tortillas warm while we had a leisurely breakfast. Clean-up was super easy with a damp cloth. I used it on granite on the medium setting and would go to the hottest. I am not so sure I would use the max setting (212) on other surfaces. Glad I came across this find.

Where has this thing been all my life?!I'm not sure I knew such a thing existed. I knew there were hot plates, but I didn't realize that there were entire warming mats available for purchase.We used this for our recent Thanksgiving feast. It held several large dishes and kept the food at the perfect temperature. It heats up quickly and stays hot and it cools off quickly as well so we were able to wrap it up and store it in the included storage bag within a few minutes of turning it off. It also has a strap around it to keep it from unraveling in the packaging.It's made of silicone and it has little feet on it to keep the heating coils from directly touching your counter. I have granite so I wasn't really worried about it. But either way it did a great job and I didn't have to worry about my countertops being damaged.The Accord to plug it in is crazy long which is nice because I don't have a lot of available outlets in my kitchen.It worked out great for our Thanksgiving and I plan on using it for many parties to come!

I thought to keep buffet food warm, you rent or borrow chafing dishes heated by sterno. So it's pretty amazing to have this warming mat available for potlucks at home. It's very easy to use and quick to reach the selected warming temperature. The heating service is hot to touch and we had no problem putting ceramic and glass serving dishes directly on it. The underside of the mat also got warm, but not to the point that it seemed a threat to the countertop. I took off one star because the product page appears to show the mat comfortably holds six mostly substantial dishes. My photo shows just a 9.5" ceramic bowl and an 8.25" glass covered dish, and there's not much room for more serving-size dishes. Still it seems like a good and useful product.
