Not sure if it works. Package was clearly opened before - possibly a return. This is a gift so I won’t know full extent of possible issues until it’s tried out. Plastic wrap didn’t even cover dance pad.

This was a major hit at my grandsons birthday party as all of the kids were so excited to play with it. We had a dance battle and it was so fun. The different modes were a little tricky to figure out but once we did, we partied all night with it and then the morning after as well. the cats had an interesting reaction to the lights and sounds (and probably jumping around) but overall this was a great gift for the kids.

On the first use the kids couldn't wait to try it out. We didn't need the instructions - dancing started spontaneously. This is a great way for all the ages, although the serious dancing was with the 8-12 ages. Well worth it.

I got this for my younger kids to play, but as usual, the older kids (the adults) end up playing with it. I’m not sure of all the features it has, but it’s easy to jump on and start playing something simple without having to learn the more complex capabilities. The kids really love the lights and the sounds. Even my 3 year old can play on it. He doesn’t really follow the rules, but he loves that it lights up and reacts when he steps on the different giant buttons. I would recommend this for anyone with small kids that also might want to jump on it occasionally themselves. It’s fun for about 10-15 minutes at a time.

My 3 grandchildren never get tired of this, which is the best compliment you can give em. It's bluetooth enabled so it can play any music. The little one isn't really old enough to understand it but the boy rock it all the time. So i'd say it's a winner.There is a learning curve but anyone over 5-6 should master it in an hour or 2.. !

I put this out for the kids to play with at my six-year-old granddaughters birthday get together and the kids loved it. It kept them entertained for quite a while with energizing dance. I even tried it, but I was quickly worn out. It is very nice looking with lights and different levels of music. It is easy to fold up and store away. I think I will keep it at the house instead of sending it home with her to keep her entertained when she is here. It is a nice product.

The JoyRapt Dance Mat is a game changer! I introduced it to my kids, and before I knew it, they transformed into disco divas and synchronized dance champions. With six tantalizing light-up buttons, it’s like a mini dance battle unfolding in my living room, complete with giggles, laughter, and a few near-miss collisions over “strategic moves.” I’ve been sucked in too; my dance card is full! I’m worried my fitness tracker might mistake my hops for cardio, though Netflix may grow jealous. I may have unintentionally become my kid's dance coach. The neighbors might think we’re summoning the dance spirits in our living room! Overall, if you want a home where the dance floor never closes, this mat provides a ticket to non-stop fun!

I got this for my kids for Christmas and they absolutely love it but they have some trouble with it because one of the arrows doesn’t light up
