When I disassembled my Delta tub faucet, the danco cartridge appeared to be what was there already for the last 5+ years so I opted to replace it with the same. I bought one at Lowe's for twice the price and it worked but they only had one in store and I needed to replace both.Unfortunately the first one I received from Amazon was faulty and leaked worse than the original but it was the same exact product so I opted to try again with a replacement and they exchanged it quickly with one that worked great to stop my drip. Happy in the end with the result.

When installed, these units flex. Feels like they will break. They cause leak from spout often. Consider buying brass cartirdge with rubber boot from same supplier. Much better units.

Spend the extra money and buy a genuine Delta product. This item is ALL plastic and does not mate to the seat correctlyand the stem flexes when it is turned allowing an annoying drip.

It worked and fixed my leak, just makes the handle flimsy. Suggest paying little more for one with brass stem.

They work well but not good for lever handles since they secure with a set screw that damages the nylon stem.

The plastic stems are no where near the quality of metal - life span is short. But great option if on a budget
