Was not "universal". Did not fit my Price Pfitzer single handle shower faucet with or without the adaptors.

The screw to tighten the handle is to short so it is not universal

Its cheap and looks good. The problem is that the vice like grip kept on slipping on the fixture. Had to tight very hard almost to the point it moght break. Works fine now. How long remains to be seen.

Really cheap looking. We wanted to replace our two handle system in the shower, but ended up putting in a single lever style, because we had a hard time finding quality looking handles, and these were not good at all. Only reason I may not send them back is that the shipping will cost almost as much. Too bad someone does not make quality universal handles for wall mounted shower handles!

I used this to replace a mystery shower control handle which split off the 8mm square shaft. I've used the light weight replacement unit from true value and it lasted only a year in my rental apartment. I repaired it and epoxied it onto the shaft to last another year. This unit has a larger handle and larger set screws to hold the larger clamp onto the handle. Their are two white spacers (which look like one in the photo) to adjust the distance the handle is from the base. I have a much higher level on confidence in this unit. The only catch is that this universal handle is limited to shafts which have a threaded hold. Mine did not so I had to drill and tap the shaft first.

Nice "fit & finish". The best part is the adapter. Use "as is" or insert one or both adapters (seen in the Pix). AND the price is right.
