I couldn't be more surprised by this thing. I had realistic expectations and they were greatly exceeded.I installed in a 02 Ford Ranger extra cab. It did not fit under the seat so I mounted it on the rear floor and covered it with a platform to keep it out of sight.

This sub woofer fits under my seat and I like it a lot better than the carpeted box solutions. These is plenty of bass for my mid size car. This has the amplifier built in and the wiring becomes somewhat easier as well as not needing an additional amp. The enclosure is aluminum and feels sturdy. These is a decent amount of weight to this sub.

It does sound good on my system. It's small and fits under the front seat which is a big plus because in the back or in the trunk you may not be able to hear it. It adds enough bass for me, but it's not gonna wake up the neighbors or rattle your trunk lid. Just adds that extra kick to make a normal stereo sound better.**EDIT** All subwoofers have a 'breakin' period. They have to loosen up a little before they sound right. With that said, after a couple of days in my truck, this thing sounds great! In fact, I had to turn the 'input gain' down to about 1/4 and it still sounds great. So, give it a little time before you crank it up. After maybe 3 to 4 hours of play time it will blow you away... Especially for the small size. Well worth a hundred bucks in my opinion!

I went from a hatchback with a single 10 and a 1000-watt amp to a 2+2 with nothing. I needed the bass back, but I told myself I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on fixing up cars anymore, so I wanted an easy solution without taking up trunk space. One of these slim guys was what I was looking for. I really wanted it to fit under my seat, but the space under there is just not compatible with any sort of subwoofer. I sit in more of a racing position for my car so my seat is up close to the wheel, so there's room behind my seat where I can put this, it's just wedged against the backseat and the back of my seat for now.With my test fit and test wiring this thing sounds pretty good for its price. A good value for something quick and easy. As with most subs I've been using, I have it about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way and just leave the rest to the head unit. I had an easy install since my head unit already has RCAs and the battery in my car is right next to the grommet into the cabin already.I'm going to move this to the passenger side to even out the weight distribution in my car though when I get everything installed for real.Sound on this is GREAT. I miss my 10", but I am happy with this, since I also had a car with a 8" bazooka tube from back in the day, and while the functional air volume isn't as much as that, it's still pretty good.Overall I think if you're looking for something quick and easy to set up, this is a great choice. Just make sure you buy your hook up wires and cables, and also get a separate fuse for the engine bay between the battery and the power for this, you don't want to accidentally have a short somewhere and have it go through the entire car.
