This was my first punch-needle project, so I was surprised how easy it was to begin. Although I did have the occasional loose patch here or there, I did not feel my punch needle work was so bad that it explains why I ran out of black yarn before I could finish the project. Since I started with black, it was difficult to want to focus on the rest of the project. What is odd is that although I was left quite short on the black yarn (the whole panda arm was not filled out), the other yarn colors were all provided in plentiful amount. Maybe my kit was just accidentally shorted. I think I learned this craft style is not for me, but maybe I'll try again another time, and see if my experience was soured by running out of yarn. As it stands, I don't want to do punch needle again for a while.

Cute little arts and crafts kit. My young kids wanted to try this type of craft and see if they like it. So far, so good.
