We purchased this for our new interest in wet plate photography, and it worked perfectly. I set up a darkroom in our bathroom, and this light provided just the right amount of brightness to see clearly without overexposing the photosensitive materials. The price is great, shipping was fast, and it’s incredibly easy to use. I highly recommend this for anyone needing a reliable red safety light, whether for photography or any other purpose where a red light is desired.

Use this as a night light in the living room so we can see without white light. Also works well in a small Dark Room for film processing. I've had it on 24/7 for several months and it's still going strong

This light is a little dim, but has a long cord and a decent switch for the darkroom. I can confirm no fogging for at least 6 min in the darkroom.

I like being able to use this in my bathroom that is converted for darkroom work. It packs nicely into my kit and because the bulb is plastic and LED, I don't have to worry about breaking it. It clips easily onto my table and the switch is close to the light so it's not a task to try and find it when working in the dark. It uses a standard size lightbulb socket so you can swap out with bulbs that are safer for other types of film work.

My husband is using this light in his amateur radio room. He wants subtle light at night while operating his radio gear, and this works perfect for that purpose. The clip works like it should. It is highly adjustable, which is a great feature. It appears to be well made and durable. The price seems to be comparable to the quality. He is very happy with it, it's exactly what he wanted. I am glad I ordered it!I don't yet know how well it will hold up over time, since I just received it. I will update this review if I receive more insightful information in the future.
