Got this to mend small holes and rips in jeans/pants/socks/etc. This darning loom can give your items a new lease on life, as you can do different designs/colors when mending.Excited to get creative on some damaged items lol

This is a great tool to have. I got it so I can mend jeans and socks instead of throwing them out. I have been reinforcing my husband's heels and toes of his socks. I did have to watch a couple of YouTube videos on how to do it. But once you understand how to use it, it is great. I would recommend it.

This is the first darning loom I've purchased. I didn't want to spend a ton of money while I was trying to learn the concept, and this fit the bill for learning. The metal seems to be aluminum, and the edges are quite sharp, which caused every rubber brand to break while trying to attach it. When the tension builds on the looms, the hooks pull out of place and don't flip easily from one way to the other. Do yourself a favor and purchase a higher quality one. The ones sold on Amazon with an orange painted metal mechanism are much higher quality for a reasonable price.
