The old dashboard trim had seen better days, I was being held together by duct tape.When I bought the vehicle, I ordered this kit right away. It is important to note that during installation, it is crucial that you have your column gear shift selector all the way down in first or second gear. You do not need to have the engine running, of course. This allows for the clearance to be able to properly install the new dash trim.It really cleaned up the appearance of the dashboard on this 22-year-old pickup, and I'm glad I bought it.
