DashSkin's molded plastic door panel inserts are a fast and economical way to remedy the most common interior failure of this vehicle. Simply remove the existing vinyl door panel material, clean the area with industrial degreaser, apply the included adhesive to the back of the inserts, and install into your door panels! The adhesive is temperature-stable and will not fail like the factory upholstery glue that holds the original material on, this kit fixes your door panels once and for all. The end result looks OEM and is a tremendous visual improvement over the original vinyl look. If you're looking to customize your interior easily and add some additional flare, the panels can also be painted using flexible coating dye for vinyl and plastics; choose a color that contrasts with your door panels and make them stand out! Best of all, our door panel inserts are MADE IN THE USA like the rest of our catalog, and are backed by a LIFETIME WARRANTY.

These are essentially just thin sheets of molded abs that roughly snap into the contours of the existing panel. I would definitely recommend removal of both door panels for the application of the adhesive and the panel itself, but it clicked in place tight enough that it may be just fine trying it while still installed on the car. I found the amount of adhesive supplied to be adequate, in spite of several earlier reviews that I read. This is a quick, easy project that really makes a difference in the looks of these cars. I have had my car since 2013, and the first Alabama summer it lived through, the door panels were toast. All better now!

Awesome replacement for the manufacturer built in defect of drooping door panel vinyl. Dry fit is perfect, fit perfect semi snapping into place. Plenty of adhesive comes with the panels, glued down and stays in place nicely. Removed stock vinyl and backing, took a little elbow grease to remove the backing from the panel but take the time to do it right and clean all the old stuff off. Definitely an upgrade to the look, great price and quality part!

My first impression when the product arrived was not a good one. The packing was adequate but the part itself left a lot to be desired. The two plastic insert pieces are flat plastic lacking any texture. It is common practice in automotive plastic pieces to add at least a slight bit of texture to hide imperfections in the plastic mold and to make the inevitable scratches less noticeable. These plastic pieces have none of that. The instructions were clear (if incorrect). It is obvious they are trying to address concerns expressed in reviews. They state the plastic insert should "snap in" upon test fitting and you must make sure you are comfortable with the fit prior to applying the silicone adhesive. While there is definitely a "snapping in" type affect when you push hard down on the plastic insert the insert promptly pops right back out. This is due to the insert panels not being properly formed. The fit is so tight the smaller piece of the insert refuses to stay "snapped" down. The instructions state "if properly installed there will be no need for weight to keep the piece in place"....WRONG! And sadly without the proper deep clamps it is almost impossible to keep the lower small strip in place for the glue to do its job. They also state in the instructions "if it is your first time you may use too much adhesive" which I believe it to address the negative comments those have mentioned about "wishing there were more". Due to the inaccurate size of the part and the tension it creates I can tell you more adhesive is unlikely to solve the problem. So it looks like I am going to have to find some flat headed torque screws (black in my case) to put in a pattern around the outer edge of this plastic piece to ensure the part stays in place. Currently I am trying to weigh down the small strip around the lower part of the door enough to get the glue to keep it somewhat in place.A little about me: I have worked in the automotive industry for 31 years. While I do not have upholstery experience (if I had I certainly would have not used a part like this) I have been working with interior panels on cars since I started. As I stated in the title I didn't have high expectations for this product, but the lack of quality and high price for what you get is surprising to even me.You would be better off putting the money you would spend on this product toward what a professional upholstery shop would charge you to do it correctly. If you do decide to proceed with these parts I would highly recommend you remove your door panel and figure out exactly how you are going to clamp off lower strip. If you can manage to keep that tight to the panel you MIGHT be able to make these work.

This was definitely the right choice to replace the sagging, de-laminating leather that came stock. I removed the door panels and placed them on saw horses while I peeled the leather out. With a little cleaning I then used the RTV sealant that was enclosed to mount the rigid plastic inserts.I placed some weights on this to insure good contact and let the sealant cure overnight. They came out great. The textured inserts look professional!I don’t believe I would want to leave the panels on the door while I replace the inserts since it would be difficult to keep pressure on the inserts while the sealant cures (24 hours is what I allowed)

This was an easy install. Great fit. I didn’t have to trim it to fit. I used 3M automotive body side molding tape instead of the supplied silicone. I previously purchased another set from a competitor last year for about half the price of these. They didn’t fit well and needed to be trimmed. You get what you pay for. So thankful I purchased these.

These are a good replacement for the old sagging door inserts. Fit is good and install is pretty easy. The only complaint is the color is a bit off. I ordered the red to match the old ones, and the color is more of a dark reddish orange in the sun light instead of actual red.
