They should show the back side, so if you're wondering it's a 1/2" female NPT.

We renovated our shower and have hand held sprayer. I did not like the look of the fitting that came with the sprayer so I ordered this one. Glad i did. I put them side by side and this one was the definite winner. The finish is good and the look was much better and gave us a more modern look.
